Chamber members and friends: As you are aware, the Warren County Fairgrounds is undergoing a transformation .... but into what is uncertain. The public is invited to submit ideas of what they would like to see as the new use for the fairgrounds. Please see the following info from the Warren County website: "The Warren County Board of Commissioners and the Fairgrounds Redevelopment Committee have been presented a tremendous opportunity to transform our 97-acre fairground property into a facility and use that is not only sustainable but a greater asset to the Lebanon and Warren County community. In the first quarter of 2014, Lebanon Raceway and Miami Valley Gaming will be moving to their new home in Western Turtlecreek Township near Monroe. With the absence of the racing at the Fairgrounds, there will be a loss of revenue and a need for a new usage of the property while still providing for a County Fair and the promotion of the 4H program whether on the same property or a new property. It is the task of the Fairgrounds Redevelopment Committee to accept ideas and proposals from both the public and private individuals to find a new usage for this property."
