Chandigarh 10th July, 2014: Bharatiya Janata Party CA Cell Chandigarh along with Economic Cell organized the live display of budget speech by Sh. Arun Jaitley hon’ble finance minister of India at BJP Office Kamlam, Sector 33A, Chandigarh. The meeting was presided over by the local BJP President Sanjay Tandon who is also a Chartered Accountant by profession. The said meeting was also attended by CA Cell Convener Pramod Bindal, Economic Cell Convener Tarsem Garg and their Associates Shiv Kumar Gupta, Ravinder Garg, Anil Kalia, Rakesh Bhalla, H.S. Khurana, Pushpinder Duggal and Anil Khanna besides senior professionals from the CA, CMA & ICSI. After the budget speech, all the professional resolved to congratulate Sh. Narender Modi & Arun Jaitley for a great, visionary, reformist, development oriented, jobs promoting, investment friendly covering each sector, section, state and defined it as a socio economic budget. Members deliberated on each aspect of the budget and appreciated the initiative taken by the FM in the field of personal taxation, health, sports, education, infrastructure, tourism, heritage, defense forces, Kashmiri migrants, agriculture, formation of smart cities, power, banking reforms, impetus to domestic industry, social security to employees and discouraging use of health hazardous materials. Members specially appreciated the special initiatives like advance ruling for resident taxpayers, initiatives in transfer pricing, status to REIT & Infra Investment Trust and pass through, relaxation in FDI for defense and insurance sectors, development of Amritsar as Heritage city, coverage of slum development through CSR, Four AIIMs, 5 IITs, 5 IIMs Sports University, Venture capital fund for MSME Sector and unifying KYC norms. Overall Sanjay Tandon remarked on this budget as “SABKA SATH SABKA VIKAS” and Modiji has offered all citizens to take one step forward, so that country moves 125 crores steps in one go.
