Changes to another Wilmington institution... January 12, 2015 Dear Valued Theatre Subscriber: Today DuPont announced it has signed an agreement to sell the DuPont Theatre business and its related assets, a part of the DuPont Hospitality portfolio, to The Grand, a local live arts and entertainment provider in Wilmington, Del. We value you as a DuPont Theatre subscriber and, as such, we wanted to contact you directly to ensure you know about this impending sale. We anticipate the sale to be complete on January 20, 2015. Until then, DuPont will continue to manage the theatre and will work with The Grand to plan for the transition. The sale includes all theatre programming including the 2014/2015 Broadway Series. Once the transition is complete, The Grand will manage the remainder of the 2014/2015 season. There will be no changes to your subscription and all current benefits as a subscriber will remain the same. We are excited about the opportunity this presents for the future growth of the DuPont Theatre. We believe it will allow for additional programming including access to one of the great theatre venues in the country. By collaborating with The Grand, together we expect to provide many more years of an even greater entertainment experience for the community.
