Chaplain Baglan (Captain Michael Baglan), our chaplain in the army was a pretty interesting...to say the least. For one. He was from an Irish family. On Sat nights, he offered Beer, pizza, war movie, and 1/2 hour sermon. (His way of offering his Catholic services!) He had some Conan OBrian hair goin on. Erwo and I just came back to the barracks, after a day of surfing. Chaplain was passing us... (Salute) Both: Third Manchu, Sir. (Chaplain, returning salute) Third Manchu. Erwo: Sir! No high and tight? (This was prior to our deployment, we were all shaved) Cpt Baglan: Nope! F%#( the Colonel! We left it, at that, and continued on our way.
