¤¤Chapter 1¤¤ It was on my sisters birthday night when everything changed, we all went to sleep jst like any other normal day and at midnight we heard our mom screaming n calling for help, we then went thr to c wht was gng on .only to find my dad lying on da bed with his eyes wide open without a wink, I helplessly stood thr looking at him while my sis n mom were calling his name, he tried to answer but was in too much pain Mom:oh my God somebody help me. Oh God pls dnt take my husband pls not now Sis:mom whats gng on? ?? Me:#crying Sis: daddy can you hear me, dad pls answer dad! !! Mom: Dudu pls look aftr VKT n ur lil bro Mangi n pls my child dont stop calling him .make him aware of your presence. Im gng to call for help Dudu:dad pls stay with me. Dont leave us pls #crying Mangi: (lying on daddys chest ) Dudu whats going on. Why is dad not talking? ? Dudu: Mangi baby boy u are too young to understand. Get off him he is trying to breathe. Go to sleep with VKT in her room Mangi: no I will not get off .he is my dad no 《started to cry》 Me: Our father who art in heaven pls help our father Mom came back with our neighbors who already called the ambulance which never came and thy decided to take him to the hospital. They dressed him and carried him to the car and he looked weaker than he was when we woke up. Mom:keep on praying things can only get better with prayer Me and my sis Dudu: #crying okay mom Mom:everything is going to be fine. I will call your elder sis and let her know of what is going on Dudu: okay mom He was then taken to the hospital Dudu: VKT mom said we must pray. Lets pray maybe he will be fine and they can come back with him Me: kept quiet n thought of how life would be without dad Mom came back with my aunt and without dad Dudu: (thinking that he was admitted at the hospital) mom how is papa doing? Mom: (with some sadness on her face) girls papa didnt make it to the hospital Me: I was so confused and I didnt understand what that meant Dudu: what! Noooo no no Mom: yes my darling hes gone, your father is dead Me and Dudu: we started crying My other aunt also came and some local people to support. It was in da morning already and we had to prepare for school but with all the shock we couldnt go to school and mom told us to stay home and come to terms with things first then we will go to school, Dudu was in grd 7 and I was in grd 2..more people , friends and family started coming to my fathers funeral Dudu: its hard to believe that we have lost our father Me: its hard for me too Mangi: mom where is dad. I want dad Mom was left helplessly speechless #I knw its short just hope yall will love it
