(v9) 1 Sam. 2: 5, Is. 47:9, Amos 8: 9,(v10) Job 3: 1, (v13) Ps. 44: 12, Is. 52: 3, (v14) 28:36, Deut. 32:22, Ps. 21: 9, (V15) Ps. 69” 7-9, (v16) Ezek. 3: 1, 3, Rev. 10: 9, Job 23: 12, (v17) Ps. 26: 4,5, (v18) Mic. 1: 9, v19 – 21 speaks about the Lord’s assurance to Jeremiah. (v19) 1 King 17: 1, Ezek. 22: 26, 44: 23, (v20) Ps. 46: 7, Is. 41: 10, v6 the statement God’s repenting is an anthropomorphic language. From human point of view God’s relenting of the threatened calamity against Judah may seem to be a change of mind. However His hand will stretch out in judgment against them.
