Chapter 9 AGRO-INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AREA (AIDA) An AIDA - TopicsExpress

Chapter 9 AGRO-INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AREA (AIDA) An AIDA can spring from a Family Farm School (FFS) or any of its variations. In a sense, an AIDA can naturally grow out of the FFS, since the former broadens the need for the values education programs of the latter. The values of working together as teams, of sticking closely to agreed schedules, of properly using credit and religiously paying it back, and of assuming the responsibility for shared ownership of an industrial enterprise through a cooperative: these come to life in the operation of an AIDA. These values are not only learned, they have to be lived. And the strict observance of these values strengthens the institutional production systems of each agro-processing industry within the AIDA.
