Character versus Charisma; and the tragedy of emphasising on gifts!! The destiny of those who value gifts over character is that you become self! Self confident, self serving, self appraising, self conceited etc. . The destiny of character driven individuals is a spirit driven and God assessed life! The word is a joy and a delight as it accords opportunity to reprove, correct and instruct in righteousness!! A man or woman who finds delight in the word and its shaping nature will become fully equipped in loving, being faithful, self controlled, joyous on all occasions, gentle, kind and at peace with God, self and everyone! Gifts are freely given but character(fruit of the spirit) we must develop! Have a character developing time!
