Charles Barkley defended Adrian Peterson this morning for spanking his child with a switch. He said he was from the South and thats the way black folks did to discipline theyre children. He said if Peterson gets punished, then every black mama and daddy will have to go to jail too. Why does ignorance have to play the racist card. Me and my sisters had to cut our own switches. My Daddy whipped me with a belt. Mama burnt me up with a switch one time, because I told her to hush. Never did that again. I was raised in the South just like all my other friends and family. We got our asses whipped when we deserved it. Even when we didnt. But we knew who was boss. I will always respect my parents and grand parents for that switch across the back of my naked legs. And Charles, I am a white boy.
