ADMIRAL was brought to the shelter by his owner. The owner surrendered him - no reason given. And, Admiral is the name we have given him because he didnt have a name. Apparently, the owner thought Admiral was too much trouble, and couldnt hunt anymore. Admiral is a spry, thin (about 10-12 pounds) senior (12 years old - according to the former owner) treat-loving pup. He loves everyone and deserves that love back. He would absolutely love to curl up on his own bed....in a comfortable home. Admiral is fine with other dogs, and not terribly interested in cats. He met some and absolutely did nothing. We have been contacted by a reliable donor in Louisiana , who is willing to help fund vetting for any underlying medical conditions that may exist, and we have additional pledges in the amount of $150. Please help us help Admiral find the perfect rescue to help him find the perfect home.
