Charles Rudolph Herdt, January 24, 1936 - September 8, 2013 Funeral services for 77 year-old Charles Herdt of Louisville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (September 11, 2013) at the Sulphur Wells Baptist Church in Clarkson with Bro. Hank Gibson Officiating. Burial will be in the Gibson Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church. He is survived by his children, Aaron Herdt of Louisville, Mark Herdt of Taylorsville, Loretta Blankenship of Louisville, & Jason Herdt of Louisville, two sisters, Ilene Rogers of Louisville & Shirley Wilson of Lexington, two brothers, David Herdt of Hodgensville & Danny Herdt of Indiana, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell & Margarite Goldsmith-Herdt and his wife, Lillian Gibson-Herdt.
