Charlevoix County News 10/29/14 Editor: I am a seasonal visitor to the Charlevoix Area. Recently, while looking at a local paper, I ran across an advertisement for Ms Kur and I cam quite curious: Why did 33rd Circuit Court Judge Richard M. Pajtas letter of recommendation that was dated June 21, 2012 appear in her paid political advertisement? Why did he not take the time to write a letter today, stating his current views on her? It makes me wonder: Has his opinion changed and is he no longer willing to give her a glowing recommendation as he did more than two years ago? Does he no longer have the same opinions of her record and work ethics? Is he no longer willing to recommend or support her for this position? Still yet: Is this archived letter an attempt on her part to mislead the voters of this fine county? I sincerely hope that the voters in this area seriously consider the background qualifications on all candidates on the ballot before voting - As I stated earlier, I am a seasonal visitor to this area and unfortunately I cannot vote for any candidates, however I would like to believe that the people of this area vote in the candidates that are the best qualified people for the positions they are running for.
