Monkeyshine Sunday features the very best premium hand picked stand-up comics and is hosted by Charlie and his funk band Sweat & Lotion every Monday night 10pm to midnight. Whether he’s talking to the audience, telling a story or singing a lounge song Charlie wants you to laugh like you mean it. I know what you think but it’s junk, Monkeyshine Sunday’s got funk! Sweat & Lotion is Charlie’s personal funk band which opens the show then keeps the tempo up throughout and whenever a comic calls on the band for musical assistance they come through every time. Mark Wilson on sax/flute, Bobby Perkins on bass, Patrick Herzfeld on percussions and Ron Sioson on electric guitar.
