Charter school sees growth in first year By Aerin Curtis acurtis@wyomingnews CHEYENNE -- PODER Academy has doubled in size, added fourth grade and moved to a new location in the old Triumph High building. That’s according to information from school founder and CEO Marcos Martinez. He gave a report on the public charter’s first year to members of the Laramie County School District 1 Board of Trustees at their meeting on Monday. “This is your school too,” he said. “Yes we are a charter school, but we’re still yours, and we’re still part of this community.” For more of this story, and to comment on it, click here: wyomingnews/articles/2013/10/22/news/20local_10-22-13.txt
