ChartwellGreen FootballClub Calling all CGFC players the leagues have been decided and so has the structure of the club how it will run during the 2014/2015 season. After 3 seasons of Cookie being the figure head of the 1st team and Baggs and cookie being the founders of the club have decided to mix it up a bit. Paul and Craig will be taking on the 1st team that are in Junior 1 next season with the emphasis on the younger players and playing a modern style of football. Cookie will be taking on the reserves in junior 3 which will feature a lot of the original players that started the club 3 seasons ago with lots of experience in the side. Both teams will run along side each other with 2 reasonably defined squads. With players moving temporarily to assist the other side if required or no game scheduled for either. But in the whole will feature in one side. Training will start back after the World Cup on Wednesday 16 July 7:00pm at Cutbush and friendlies are already in place for the middle 3 Sundays in August for both sides. We would love to have you all back next season to play for your places amongst no doubt a few new faces. Can you all reply with your thoughts and your intentions to be part of the club next season. Look out for the league tables on Facebook youll see that there is a real chance of silverware for both sides!
