Chasing away the Fog This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 118:24 (NLT) Some mornings you wake up and the world is blanketed with a thick fog. As you look out your window, you can trace the outline of the house across the street and perhaps the car out front. But the details are impossible to see. That is what living with worry and fear is like. They create a fog in your mind and heart that keeps you from seeing Me clearly. But just as the sunlight chases away the morning fog, My Light chases away the fog of fear and worry. All you have to do is tell Me about your worries and fears, and then leave them with Me. Don’t snatch them back again! Trust Me to help you handle everything that happens, knowing it doesn’t surprise Me. And count on Me to take care of you. Let My Light chase away the fog. Then go out and live your day in the sunshine of My Love.
