Check-in info from MAB: Mary Anne Butler 10:12pm Oct 14 Pretty sure it went out in an email already, but GREETINGS! I am your friendly neighborhood check in person (Mab) with a reminder and requests: Check in Hours will be Friday 9am-10:30pm (possibly closer to midnight as needed) and Saturday 7am-9:30am. PLEASE have your state or military issued ID or passport. PLEASE know who youre listed with (I know this sounds silly, and usually when this happens we figure it out within a minute or two, but it helps us on time spent lookin for folders and such). Please try to check in on Friday, if at all possible. The reason for this request is the line on Saturday morning has been just HORRENDOUS the past three events. We normally close check in on Saturday morning at 9:30am, so those of you attending notes have had enough time to scurry over and get your wristbands. Occasionally, well stay open til right after 10am, but this is something we dont like doing because we have other duties for the Faire, too, and it gives a poor impression of our participants to the attendees waiting in line to buy their ticket if you are yelling/cursing at the person trying to help you. If you are under 18, you are a minor, and therefor need a guardian to sign for your wristband. (This means they need to be with you at the table when you check in.) Please do not take off your wrist band til after the weekend is over. (there is a $5 replacement fee) We do our best to make sure we get through lines as quick as possible, and make sure you leave our table with a smile and knowing itll be a good weekend. Cant wait to see everyone on Friday!
