Check it out... Its long but its so worth it!!! For a while now, we had been planning to attend an awesome art festival here in Augusta until I unknowingly double booked our usually uneventful weekend for something that we (finally realizing what I had done) considered to be much more important to us! *God* We left Saturday afternoon around 1:00 pm and headed towards Conyers to drop Austin off at my mom and dads house so that B and I could visit with some very special friends. We decided to grab some lunch before we got on the road which we never do! (We always get off at the Madison exit to grab something to eat before completing our journey) *God* Then, B asked me if I needed for him to stop so I could use the restroom before my chances became few and far between. I told him that I *surprisingly* did not have to go! As shocked as he was, he just drove on. (Now, keep in mind that the trip down normally takes about 2 hours or so and Sweet B has to stop at least 1-2 times along the way so we can use the restroom since we never seem to be on the same schedule. ;)) *God* All of a sudden, I remember that I had not yet told B about an incident that I experienced with the car a couple of days before so I quickly shared with him the details. *God* As we got a little closer, we realized that because of the road work and traffic conditions, it was going to be best for us to use a different exit than usual...so we did. (99% of the time, we use the 138 exit to reach our destination!) *God* As soon as we turn off the exit, the car begins to do exactly what I had described to B not too long before that. We make it to the intersection of Flat Shoals and Salem Rd. before B decides to take a look at whats going on. He pulls into the auto parts store parking lot on the corner and the water pump starts pouring liquid. Perfect timing yall! We werent stranded on the expressway in all that traffic and we were only 20 minutes from my parents house! *God* I called my mom and before we knew it, her and my dad were pulling into the parking lot! They pull out their AAA card and we had the car towed to our mechanic (who just so happens to be my parents next door neighbor) for a whopping $16! *God* All of that took place and we were still able to make it back to spend some precious time with our beautiful friends that night. A wonderful evening full of fun, food, and fellowship!! *God* Our car is now being repaired at a reasonable cost by a trustworthy friend. We have reliable transportation until the repairs are complete because of my wonderful parents. *God* Now, go back and look at ALL the ways that Gods provision worked for our good and thats not even all of it folks!!! No one could ever convince me that any of that just happened by chance!! The will of God is too perfect to be considered a mere coincidence! Think of what couldve happened if we had stopped several times along the way, waited in that traffic and taken our usual route!! Heck, think about the money that I would have most likely spent at the art festival not leaving me any extra money to afford the inevitable car repairs to come... Yall!!! I have chills! God is Ahhhhmaaaazzzzing!! You better praise Him in the storm!! He is always with us! He will never forsake you! Trust in Him! I love You Lord!!! Thank you! God never promised that this life would be easy (without hardships, struggles, etc) but it is written.... Romans 8:28~And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Amen.
