I am so glad that we can do this event for everyone year after year. It has been a rough few years for the Air Show Industry. Some big events have had to cancel, others have had to re-invent the way they operate. Weve always been different because we are more than just an Air Show. We are more than just a Balloon Competition. We have lots for people to do during our almost week long event. Other shows have raised prices to accomodate their new headings, while we still maintain one of the lowest admission prices in the industry AND allow things in that most other shows wont (such as outside food/drink & coolers). We are an event that has always gone against the norm in the industry. While all other shows are trying to adapt, we not only already adapted, but we lead the charge as our event has been this diverse since the 1980s. We truthfully are helping to lead the air show industry into the new normal. The title says it all In a Fragile Industry, One Airshow Shows The Way To A Solid And Prosperous Future. The last few sentences also say a lot By setting up a large event with diverse forms of entertainment and treating the attendees right, the show has transcended above this niche role to become a beloved community event that many people plan their summer schedules around. Pay attention airshow organizers, because this is what airshows can and should be. We truthfully are more than just an air show, more than just a balloon event. While both play a major role in our event, we have a large buffet of activities for anyone that wants to enjoy them. We arent just one of the best aerial events out there...but we are also the aerial event of the future (and weve been doing it for years). While things are ever changing, especially nowadays...the future of the air show industry (and for us) is still really bright. We just have to make it all we can be!
