Check out todays Mail Online. We are astonished that so many dog owners are unaware of the dangers of leaving dogs in hot cars! We commissioned a survey for The Mail: 62% say they would yet it can take just 20 MINUTES for an animal to die in a hot motor. 66% dont know dog could die within 20 minutes. So what more can be done to get the message across? We have laws for using mobile phones in cars, or for not wearing a seatbelt...how about a strong law where police issue harsh penalties if there is a dog left in a car for more than 3 minutes? viovet.co.uk/blog/p143-Dog_in_hot_cars
