Check this out! St. Nicholas was not a wimp. He punched out a heretic at a church council where they were trying to remove parts of the bible that proved Christ was the Son of God; God in the flesh. As a result of St. Nicks adamancy to leave the bible alone and not mess with it.... the Nicene Creed was written, which many churches recite still recite today.
