Checked in with the Surgeon today for a follow up...everything looks fine and healing well. He showed me photos of the procedure and the inflamed gall bladder. Ive got to admit that it is an odd feeling to look at photos of the inside of your own body.... I thanked him again for taking the extra effort to do this without gutting me like a fish, and left him with a signed poster and souvenir DVD of The Great Comedians. He was unaware that he was operating on so many people at the same time! And, I finally got a grin out of him! (Surgeons are so serious....)
