Cheesy Chicken Potato Balls Ingredients :- 3 medium potatoes 11/2 cups boneless chicken (cut into pieces) ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp chilli powder 1 maggi chicken cube dissolved in a tblsp of warm water(optional…but gives a nice flavour) ½ cup shredded cheese or cheese slices cut into 1” squares 1 egg (beaten) Bread crumbs for coating Oil for frying Method :- Wash potatoes (whole) and toss in a pressure cooker with chicken pieces ,add some water , ¼ tsp salt , a pinch of turmeric powder and garam masala powder.Pressure cook for 5 minutes .Drain and let it cool .Peel and mash potatoes with chicken , salt , chilli powder and maggi.Grease your hand and take some mixture ,flatten it , keep a tsp of cheese(or a piece from the slice) in the middle and shape into ball .Do the same with rest of the mixture .Next ,dip each ball in beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs .Place on a greased plate and keep in the fridge for atleast an hour or till you need to fry.Deep fry on a medium heat until golden brown ,Crispy outside and creamy inside…potato balls are ready…serve hot with tomato sauce . Tip:-Depending on the quality of potatoes , if the mixture seems soggy ,add half to one tbsp of corn flour.
