Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is eyeing up Real Madrid youngster Raphael Varane according to Sports Direct News. The returning Blues boss is clearly keen to continue the West London club’s youthful transfer policy and having already signed young German Andre Schurrle and Dutch international Marco van Ginkel Mourinho is now looking to conduct an audacious Bernabeu raid. Mourinho signed Varane from Lens in June 2011 and last term showed great faith in the French centre-back who duly re-paid the Portuguese boss with a series of mature displays. Now the Chelsea boss wants to lure the 20 year old to West London, which could be a very tough task. Real Madrid have spent big this summer and this source believes that if the Spanish giants manage to sign long term target Gareth Bale then they will have to balance the books, in theory giving Mourinho a chance of snapping up the £25m rated defender.
