Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have agreed a swap deal involving goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, according to theDaily Mail. The Mailsay that reports in Spain claim a deal has been struck between the Premier League and La Liga clubs, with the players set to move clubs in time forthe start of next season.Courtois has spent the last two-and-a-half seasons on loan at Atletico, and has cemented his reputation as arguably Europes best goalkeeper during that time. However, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is determined to land a 30-goal-a-season striker, while Petr Cech - who is still just 31 - remains oneof the worlds best keepers. It seems Mourinho is prepared to stick by Cech and allow the hugely-talented Courtois to walk away from Stamford Bridge, without having played a single match for the Blues, in order to sign Costa, who has also been linked withManchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks. The Brazilian-born future Spain international has scored 20 goals in 21 league appearances for Atleti, who are currently joint top of the Primera Liga table, this season.
