Chelsea predicted lineup v West Ham: Matic & Etoo to start Jordan Chamberlain 5 Hours Ago Etoo likely to get the nod ahead of Ba, with Torres crocked... New signing Mohamed Salah has not trained with the team yet so will definitely not start, but £21m Nemanja Matic should retain his place after excellent debut last weekend. GK) Petr Cech The first-choice goalkeeper was rested against Stoke City in the FA Cup, but will almost definitely return to the lineup barring a late injury. DR) Branislav Ivanovic Ivanovic is fit again, and is an automatic starter when healthy because of his ultra-solid defensive work, and his ability to continually get up the right flank and support Chelseas attackers. DC) John Terry Terry was rested against Stoke in place of David Luiz, but has arguably been the leagues best defender this year, so will certainly regain his place. DC) Gary Cahill Cahill and Terry is the first-choice partnership in central defence, so David Luiz has had to be content with a spot on the bench or in defensive midfield. If the two Englishman are fit, they should start. DL) Cesar Azpilicueta The Spanish fullback has displaced veteran Ashley Cole on the left of Chelseas first-choice back four, and should return to the lineup after Cole played against Stoke in the FA Cup. MC) Nemanja Matic The £21m January signing was exceptional against Stoke during his full debut, and will likely retain his place in the anchorman role. MC) Ramires Ramires was rested verses the Potters in place of Frank Lampard, and we expect the Brazilian box- to-box midfielder to take his place back against the Hammers. AMR) Willian Willian was rested for Andre Schurrle in the Cup, but should regain his place following some exceptional recent performances. Since winning a regular place in the team early in December, The Brazilian has impressed everyone with his attitude and work-rate. AMC) Oscar Another Brazilian we expect to start, Oscar scored a wonderful free-kick last weekend, helping the fans quickly forget the departure of Juan Mata to Manchester United. AML) Eden Hazard Hazard is Mourinhos first-choice attacking midfielder, and starts from the left, given the licence to roam infield and shoot with his powerful right boot. FC) Samuel Etoo Fernando Torres is injured, and Etoo will likely start up top instead of Demba Ba, despite a horror miss against Stoke last time out. He did bag a hat-trick against Manchester United in his last Premier League fixture, of course
