Chennai Express, is one film which didn’t fail to live up to the expectations. Instead, this rom-com performed more than expected! After making a mind blowing 1st Week business at the India and Overseas Box Office, this flick made a business of 7 crores nett (10 crs gross) on its 2nd Friday. The movie saw an average occupancy on 2nd Saturday and as per early estimates it collected approx 8 crores nett at the Domestic Box Office. Chennai Express now stands at a domestic total of about 171.60 crores nett at the Box Office.It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Chennai Express is running stronger at the ticket counter as compared to this week’s new release Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara keeping in account their respective screen count!
