Cher Wellman just an fyi cats have Pasteurella bacteria which is a gram negative bacteria fatal to birds.. even a small cat scratch will kill a bird if appropriate antibiotics arent started within 12 hours..being a parent to both species i just feel I need to spread the word.. Please if you have both dont allow interaction between species. it will one day be fatal to your parrot.
