Cheryl Coleman 13 hrs So furious with municipal police in this place. Its like they are doing their utmost to destroy tourism in the country. One young couple have cut their holiday short by 5 days because of harassment and now another group of people fresh out from reunion island have just been harassed out of 10 000mts and when they tried to find out why, were told not to speak. Money was put into their pockets, of course no receipt issued. They were terrified t the treatment and were convinced they were going to be put in jail. How to destroy tourism. Ask a municipal cop. After they finished then went to central market to buy cashews. On leaving there were stopped by municipal cops who wanted car papers. They gave them papers and the cops then started about big problems and they were going to jail. When the people tried to find out what was wrong they were told better not to speak and they must pay 10 000mts. The husband asked for a receipt but was told if he wanted to make trouble they could do so in a jail. They were driving a hired car booked in Johannesburg for their entire holiday. The holiday in moz was booked with a travel agency. They were in such a state when they arrived back here. The older of the ladies was very stressed and her words were. There was no help, politeness or advisory info here. Just plain intimidation. They were scared and said this could never be a holiday destination with this type of thing going on . 10 hrs · Like · 5 Nuno Rosario Cheryl Coleman, unfortunate but good to know. Spread MOZ INFO to all tourists you know and Carlos number for aid. And tell them to never carry that much money with them EVER! 10 hrs · Like · 4 Niklas Lehmann Dear Cheryl. I would like to recommend you to give your guests, specially the vulnerable ones like these, your phone number so they can call you in case of any trouble. I am sure that Carlos would have loved to have got a call from you so he could have exposed and punished these bandits. 10 hrs · Like · 6 Relacs At JosMacs The problem is that it just happens too much for one man to sort out 10 hrs · Like · 1 Ian Price I agree Cheryl they are killing the tourism have heard it so many times 2 hrs · Like Share
