Chicken/Turkey Cobbler – an ideal recipe now the weathers getting chilly – sounds really tasty! Will definitely be giving this a go soon in a stoneware dish of course!! Ingredients 350g / 12oz cooked turkey or chicken 225g / 8oz carrots ½ onion 300g / 10.5 oz broccoli florets 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 125ml / 4oz chicken stock 125ml / milk 1 clove of garlic ¼ tsp dried thyme black pepper For Cobbler/dumpling topping: 140g / 5oz self-raising flour 55g / 2oz chilled butter salt 125ml milk. Method 1) Preheat oven to 200 degrees C / 400F/Gas 6. 2) Cut carrots into 5mm/ ¼ inch slices with Utility Knife & place in Large Micro Cooker. 3) Finely chop onion & broccoli using Food Chopper. 4) Add onion & broccoli In Large Micro Cooker combine carrots, onion and broccoli. Cover micro cooker with lid and microwave on high for 5 mins until tender & crisp; drain. 5) Open the tin of soup with the Can Opener & add to Medium Stainless Steel Bowl. 6) Add stock &milk measured in Measure All Cup to bowl. 7) Add black pepper and garlic with Garlic Press. 8) Using Adjustable Measuring Spoons, add thyme to mixture. 9) Whisk until blended with Stainless Steel Whisk. 10) Slice turkey with Santoku Knife and add to mixture. 11) Stir vegetables into mixture with Small Mix n Scraper and pour into Square Baker. 12) For topping, blend flour, butter and salt in Classic Batter Bowl until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. 13) Add milk from Prep Bowl and combine using Bamboo Spoon until ingredients are moistened. 14) Using Large Scoop drop scoops of dough over filling. Bake for 30 – 35 mins until topping is golden brown.
