Chief Financial Officer Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Description: Job Purpose: •Observe the maintenance of a proper accounting system in order to meet the CMA reporting requirements and to provide the management with accurate and reliable operating and financial information Finance Responsibilities: •Maintain proper accounting system to meet reporting requirements and to provide management with accurate and reliable operating and financial information •Approve all reports and statements to be submitted to regulatory bodies, government institutions and to the CEO •Approve the monthly, quarterly and annual, as well as end year financial statements •Approve the disbursement of expenses •Approve the reconciliation reports •Approve the department’s generated accounting entries •Monitor the P&L account movement •Maintain the chart of accounts, approve any modification therein, and the opening of new accounts in the general ledger •Review dividends distribution •Ensure the proper monitoring of expenses, as well as revenues account •Ensure the verification of payroll and fixed assets accounting entries •Check the consolidated daily journal and verify daily transactions •Coordinate with External Auditors for the preparation and review of financial statements Desired Profile: •University degree in Business Administration or equivalent •Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent •At least 10 years of experience in a managerial position within a leading bank or an investment company •Financial Planning and Strategy •Managing Profitability •Strategic Planning •Quality Management •Promoting Process Improvement •Forecasting •Corporate Finance •Financial Skills •Dealing with Complexity
