Children in America DO starve to death. At one point, there was a group chosen from my Ward (geographical area like a parish would be in catholic church) to attend a very small branch (another geographical area) in Washington DC. Our members came back and told us that those families were living in 3rd world countries, right in Washington DC... Our members went every Sunday and on different nights of the week as well, they observed that Fathers had to stand over the beds of their children at night to keep the rats from eating their fingers or toes....The parents always worked opposite shifts if indeed both were able to find work....so that the children would never be alone....They were fed by the welfare system of the church, or they would not have had food to eat each day.....Before the members were called to attend that branch and help those people in Washington DC, those people had not been eating.....but some of them were indeed meals for the rats.... Dont say that people dont starve IN America I have seen it in psychiatric wards as well, as I am a nurse.....they have come in wearing only their skin over bones, and unable to sit down unless they sat on their hands because the bones in their bottoms were so protruding......So dont say that children in America dont starve to death
