Childrens Action Alliance: Tomorrows a big day for Arizonas children. All of our state legislators are up for election and you have the power to decide which ones are elected. These will be the legislators that vote on issues important to our children for the next two years. If you need help making your decisions, be sure and check out our legislative candidate questionnaire page. You can find candidates answers to questions like: Which childrens causes or organizations have you supported as a donor or volunteer? What is your level of support for shifting resources to strategies such as childcare assistance, substance abuse treatment, and professional parent mentoring to reduce the growth in reports of abuse and neglect and the need for foster care? Do you feel that our state spending and taxes are still too high, and we need to cut them both? and many more If you received an early ballot and havent mailed it, please DONT mail it now. Instead, drop it off at any polling location in your county. If you are voting in person you must vote at your assigned polling location. Polls open up at 6:00 a.m tomorrow morning and close at 7:00 p.m (If youre in line by 7:00 p.m. you can vote). Also, remember to bring your picture identification. The following forms of identification are acceptable: One piece of ID that has your name, address, and photograph (example: an Arizona Drivers License). OR two forms of ID that have your name and address (ex: a utility bill and a bank statement) OR one form of acceptable photo ID with another form of non-photo id that includes your name and address (ex: a passport and a utility bill).
