Chile. I have truly been disturbed in my day but not many things have disturbed my spirit like Thicker Than Water. This is coonery and buffoonery at its best. I didnt think it was real. I kept waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out. I was sitting up in my room finishing off my glass of wine and living ghetto fabulous getting ready to write about the episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta that I had just watched. As I was collecting my thoughts and preparing my spirit, I caught glimpses of this huge, animated, borderline guy going on and on about being rich. My thoughts evaporated. I was baffled by what I was seeing and hearing. This man claimed to be a recording artist and pastor but I had to google him. His hood rich third wife was equally appalling. For her to be so rich and fabulous, she was a janky looking mess. Then we have ALL those grown kids! OMG. They have everybody living with them in the Tankard Mansion and its a mad house. The pastor preaches about having a meeting with the mid-section of his wife and how God wants all of us to be very rich. They have two daughters who ran an underground strip club until they were arrested and a son who lost his track scholarship because he smoked too much weed. And his gums look the part. They buy planes and have millionaire hustle conversations at the dinner table. One of the very rich peoples dinners consisted of rotisserie chickens from Kroger. Yeah. I saw the bags. It was just unsettling and I have to admit that there were moments when I thought the pastor would snap and twirl. It was a travesty. I think they couldnt get the foolishness they wanted out of Preachers of LA so they found a voluntary fool. Its a true mess and I dont have to watch it anymore- but Im sure yall are gonna want me to. God was not pleased and neither was I. Now on to the show I actually wanted to write about. The Real Housewives of Atlanta picked up a little bit this week. Nene decided to meet with newly vindicated Kenya and basically tell her what we were all thinking but still ended up trying to help Kenya reconcile. It was a disaster. Kenya basically admitted to being a liar about insinuating that Apollo was trying to hit and I believe Phaedra handled it well. I do love how all of them pretty much let Kenya know that her actions were not cool but chile it was all in vain. I betcha. Speaking of Phaedra, I was not feeling how dismissive she was to Apollo. Im not a married woman. However, I was raised well when it comes to taking care of a man and I know better than to belittle him and his efforts- especially in the company of others. She was out of line and was already having marital issues. Phaedra gon mess around and it will be going down cause she being a clown. Not cool. Cynthia debunked the rumors from a few months ago that Ole Man River Peters junk still works and shes pregnant. Nope. She is bloated due to fibroids. Oh. Ok. Well get some Spanx or something and keep it pushing. I know plenty small women with big stomachs. Welcome to the real world. Porsha though. Porsha served short hair dont care REALNESS. I lived! Anybody can wear long hair or weaves. Hair actually does many favors for some but it takes a snatched chick to wear a ole naaaaaaaasty piece of cropped cut and Porsha gave life to the lifeless. Hair was everything! Face was beat down! Attire was poppin! Yes! Keep this up and youll be smashing a straight man in NO time! Now that Ive praised you, let me read you a little bit too. I dont know how you was raised (and honestly Im kinda scared to find out given that your mama was ok with wearing that tank top on national tv) but Im gonna tell you something your mama obviously did not. Dont you EVER let what a man brings to the table be all you have to eat. Youll run the risk of starving. I was shaking my head when Porsha was complaining about empty purses and failed promises of allowances. CHILE PLEASE! You are a 20 something, able-bodied woman! Get your OWN coin! Im all about a man being a provider but Im also about a woman empowering herself enough to handle up if (AND when if we counting NFL or Not For Long coins) it all falls down. Kordell didnt have to respect Porsha as his wife because her capabilities and contributions were not much more than that of a daughter. Thats why he could tell her where to go and when to come. He owns her. Yall better learn something here! I just couldnt do her on that note. She needs some friends or sawrahs or something if her folks aint telling her no better. Finally, we had Kandi and Mama Joyce NEVER disappoints. Kandi aint learned to listen to her mama yet we see. Mama Joyce wants to make sure that Todd is equally contributing to the life they are building. Shes right. Kandi wrote No Scrubs. Mama Joyce is trying to make sure her daughter is not aiding and abetting one. I couldnt agree more. Besides, if Todd loved Kandi, he would have pulled her to the side about that kool-aid crunch wig a while ago. Yep. Hes got to be along for the ride. Too bad. I liked them. I have to admit I flatlined when Mama Joyce told Kandi he could have at least gotten her a real ring. DEAD. DEAD. DEAD. Thats all....
