Chipimo Predicts Widespread Strike Action over Wage Freeze | #Zambia Reports: zambiareports/2014/10/13/chipimo-predicts-widespread-strike-action-wage-freeze/ National Restoration Party (NAREP) President Elias Chipimo Junior has charged that he foresees crippling strikes next year if government maintains its stance on wage freeze. Chipimo notes that government is punishing workers and those that are still jobless because of the stance it has taken regarding wage freeze. He says there is need for government to seriously reflect and bear the responsibility if industrial unrests are to be avoided in the near future. Chipimo has also stressed the need for all stakeholders to work together and hold government accountable on policies that are depriving the workers and citizens’ rights.
