Chopper Update: (sorry for length!) We are so happy to report that our boy is feeling better than he has since last August! He has gained back all his weight, he looks great, and his mood (or emotional state) is back to his normal puppy state of mind! Today he scared us half to death though... He has been limited to walks on a short leash and in the last month he has been going out once weekly for off-leash walks in the backyard, weather permitting. He has always been so good about just walking around, checking out his territory and totally ignoring the agility equipment...but not today! After surveying his area, he suddenly took off running around the agility field grinning from ear to ear totally ignoring our pleas to stop...be easy! Then we saw him eye a line of jumps and after several NO, DO NOT JUMP! commands, he veered off at the very last second! Only to turn and run up the A-frame! I thought I was going to have a heart attack! Halfway up he stopped and turned to look at us, grinning as if to say, whats the problem???!!! I have to say it made our hearts beam to see him sooo happy!
