Chris Strawserposted toCharley Knuckles 55 minutes ago Hello! I got back from the hospital this evening and Ill just start off by saying it was a very positive visit. No, he is not interacting, and he will be in this doctor induced coma for another week or two before they will let him stay awake enough to be able to interact. It was positive because, after 3 attempts to clean out his lungs of fluids and blood due to bruising and some internal bleeding, hes breathing much better now. Hes only being given 65% oxygen instead of 100% like before and is continuing to require less of it still. His pulse has come down to a steady 100 whereas it was around 130 yesterday. I was asking about his back injuries, also. There are no back injuries that will cause problems with mobility. However, they think he may have limited mobility in his wrists do to how he fell (arms out, landing on his wrists). He was pretty much all covered up today as well in that Rotoprone bed facing the floor so there wasnt much of him to see. Ive been taking pictures of him. I will not be posting or showing anyone. They are only for him, and he can do what he wants with them. I know my brother, and hell want pictures, and knowing him, hell be posting every one of them! Ill keep you up on anything else! Hopefully my coming updates are even more uneventful and boring. :)
