Chris Wilkes has taken back comments that Councillor Murray Chong is a knob jockey. He has posted to Decision 2013 - NPDC: I would like to offer my apologies to Cr Chong for my inappropriate remarks made on this page. We were good friends and I regret that due to a couple minor political differences and an ugly txt exchange this friendship seems to have ended. Murray I am sorry I was out of line, I really needed space and felt I was being harrassed. I know this was not your intention and regret the outcome. I do wish you every success on Council and am stoked you made it after all the effort. Really hope you take on what Im saying here as I dont want any lingering ill feeling between us. We are both on the same page as far as community needs and I hope we can work together in future. Once again mate my apologies. Chris.
