Christ is the Passover Lamb. Was reading Kristopher Lewellens note, and he brought up how the Angel of Death passed over the houses that were marked by the blood of the lambs (when the Israelites were in Egypt). It kind of reminds me how Christians today (and Im speaking to myself) need to have their identities in what Christ has done for them. We need to point to Christs blood (in a figurative sense). It needs to be on our door posts, in a place where people can see it. When the angel of death comes to kill, steal, and destroy, we need to have the blood of Christ painted clearly on the door of our lives, and he will flee. Im a sinner. Ive messed up. I fall short of Gods glorious standards, but by Gods great mercy in the name of Jesus Christ, by His blood, I am clean. Forgiven. Pure. Satan can no longer condemn me because the blood of Jesus marks my door posts. Trust in the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. Thanks Kris, that was a good note. It really blessed me.
