Christian Garcia, 0-1, was assigned to fight a guy 2-9 tonight. Upon arrival for fight night, we noticed that Christians opponent was not the same name we were told all this time. His new, surprise opponent was a Las Vegas Tuff N Nuff Champ with a pro record of 3-1. We had a moment of choice in our hands as this was not the opponent we took this fight on. We chatted for a minute before the answer was shining clear. Think Street. Fight Sport. I dont represent that mindset for nothing. This has now moved into Street where you dont have time to think about your opponent. He was a reputable fighter. We dont like an easy win. We called: Game On! After 3 rounds, the decision didnt go our way. Im proud of Christian Mariachi Garcia for his courage in stepping up to the plate, and taking this fight like the honorable man he is. I saw such an improvement in him as an overall fighter and he made his coach proud! You Win or You Learn! Thank you to everyone who came out tonight to support the #GTA family!
