Christians… Here is something to think about. I had a word spoken to me just yesterday about the end times. As you may be aware, in 2 Timothy it speaks about the end times and how people will be. Here is the hard part to swallow… If you allow certain things to happen within your own home (or do them yourself), then you are actually contributing to what scripture says people will be like during the end times. That is, if you let your kids do whatever they want, disrespect people, or have too much pride to apologize, etc. Either you are contributing to the ungodliness of people or you are leading them in a Godly manner. There is no in-between. Take a long hard look at the following scripture and see where you might be instilling ungodly values in your kid’s lives, or anyone else’s life for that matter. And most of all, where is YOUR heart at? Does any of this apply to YOU? 3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. The end times are most definitely upon us!
