Christians must realize we dont have to reinvent Gods solutions. We dont have to re-assess human life as if all of a sudden whats going on in America now is something thats never gone on in the past. As bad as things may be, in some respects life is just the same as its always been. The solution is still to go back to the Word of God and see what the answer is. And the answer is that we have to proclaim the only message that transforms the heart. Even back in Bible times, the Apostle Paul basically says in Titus Chapter 3, “Remember that theyre unbelievers. Remember that theyre lost. Remember that theyre pagans. And then remember that you used to be like that. You used to conduct your life like that.” For us to “ask these people” in a political sense to become something other than they are, we might as well ask dogs to stop barking and ducks to stop quacking. Its not going to happen. Only when the heart is transformed will the lives be changed.
