Christmas Eve, many years ago, Artist Rex, Catherine L DeTar, and I set out our milk and cookies for Santa. A few moments later, the glass was empty and the cookies were gone, but no presents! Mom helped us set out more, but the same thing happened again! The cookies and milk were gone but no presents. After three attempts, Papa and Nana noticed our standard poodle Moose (Or Jacques, Jock) had a milk mustache and a bulging belly. He learned to drink the glass without tipping it over, and the dude was so stuffed on cookies he couldnt move. We still tell the story to this day, and it never fails to make us laugh.
