Christy Asbury, this is very true. When one become a true child of God you will present a sacrifice, you will have to give up something! Paul said, I beg ....you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) Truth is you are not a child of God with a old mind, you are not a child of God without transformation, ALL THING BECOME NEW! Every true child of God is transformed with a new mind, our new action and new lifestyle identifies us! Paul said, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God Question, So how can you know what is the acceptable perfect will of God without a NEW MIND? Now we know why all this stuff that is being pass off as Christianity is not Christianity, because its being pass off and believed and obeyed by folks who mind has never been renewed.
