Christy’s husband, Allen Black was in an ATV accident on 7/19/13 due to a faulty rented ATV that had been wrecked the day before he rode it & Allen fell 40 feet off of a cliff on to a boulder that ended in tragedy. He was flown to Denver Health ICU in a helicopter. The doctors said it was a miracle that he lived through the fall & has a estimated recovery time of a year. Allen was in a medically induced coma & on life support & had many surgeries due to crushed ribs, punctured and collapsed lung, fractured skull, broken spine, torn and ripped muscles and many other injuries and infections Allen had no benefits at all with his employer so has no income or disability pay and doesn’t qualify for any help from the state or government. Now that more testing has been done they are afraid there is some brain damage. With this being said, Allen has no income now. The ATV rental place is suing him $6900.00 for a used ATV. He has piles of medical bills coming in every day as well as everyday living expenses & bills that they can’t afford.
