Chuckie Jones and Ben Turner had three hits apiece and the San Jose Giants never looked back after a four-run top of the second in an 8-3 victory over the Inland Empire 66ers on Sunday afternoon at San Manuel Stadium. With the win, the Giants have taken two out of the first three games in their series with the Sixers. Jones (3-for-4, 2B, 3B, HR, 2 RBI) doubled, tripled and hit his fourth home run of the season to lead the offensive attack. Turner (3-for-4, 2 2B, 2 RBI) added a pair of doubles and two runs batted in while Blake Miller (2-for-5) contributed two singles as part of a 13-hit outburst. San Joses eight runs on Sunday eclipsed their scoring output from the first five games of their road trip combined (seven runs). milb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20140601&content_id=77835836&fext=.jsp&vkey=recap&sid=t476
