Church Family, Sunday will be a big turning point in our journey through the Old Testament! As Israel spies out the land we learn that they forget, or dismiss the fact that God had promised them the land. Instead, they lean on their own strength and understanding instead of Gods. All of the Israelites do this except for Joshua and Caleb. Sunday we will unpack the unraveling of the Israelites and yet see the trust and faith that Caleb and Joshua had in the one true God. As a reminder, we will be receiving our World Hunger offering this Sunday. There is a special envelope in your offering envelope box for this as we will be receiving this offering at the end of our service. Lastly, be reminded that we will be loving and serving our community on October 18th at the Pike County Recreation Department from 10am - 3pm. This is an opportunity for us to go and serve where our community is. We are asking everyone to sign up for a time slot at the bulletin board. We will also be collecting candy between now and then to give out. There will be a box you can put it in across from the bathrooms in the worship center building.
