Church was wonderful today! Pastor Yates preached from Acts Chapter 16:22-26. His sermon, There is power in the name of Jesus This text was about when Paul and Saul was in jailed. However, while in jail they still was praying and singing praises to God. While praising God, all the prisoners chains were coming loose. Pastor Yates related the text into modern times, and talked about how as Christians we have to praise our way through all these midnight storms! Next thing I knew, he unzipped his robe, and he was covered in chains. He had a key that was symbolic for Christ, and how when we give our problems to God, the chain starts to loosen. He took the key, and inserted it into the lock, and then he started shouting, I hear the chains falling! Im getting excited all over again! Whatever storms or obstacles youre facing, give it God and watch him change things!
