Cinema Manager The Mallard Cinema, Guernsey £18,000 per annum (plus single person self-contained accommodation) The Mallard Cinema based on Guernsey in the Channel Islands is an independent cinema that serves the local community. Our cinema team are committed to delivering a fantastic welcome and exceptional service making sure every customer has an excellent experience. The Cinema Manager will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of all cinema activities including the profitability of the cinema shop, selecting and programming the film schedule as well as publicity and press relations. You will also manage a small but committed team. We a looking for a committed Cinema Manager, you will: •Have previous management or supervisory experience in a customer-facing role in the cinema, hospitality, leisure or restaurant sector •Have excellent communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers •Have excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task. •Be flexible, confident and resilient and be able to work under pressure •Be able to demonstrate your ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team to achieve the best possible results at all times •Be able to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis across all 7 days of the week To find out more about our cinema and the cinema manager position please visit themallardcomplex/cinema.
