Ciocia Bernadzia, born in 1915 in Poland during the First World War. Her family took in my mothers family when my grandfather was taken away by the Nazis in 1942. Bernadzia had only two years of grade school and is the smartest, funniest, most generous, most awesome person I know. She still reads books, does her own housework, hears just fine with her hearing aid, and holds court telling naughty jokes. She turns 100 next March. David, plan your vacation time now--were coming out for the party!
